How Does Your Garden Grow?

I am wanting to plant something like tomatoes, cucumbers, strawberries, etc. I don't want to plant in the ground, I prefer a container. Is it too late to plant something like that this year? What is best? How do I do it? When do I do it? See..I have always bought veggies and fruits from the store, but for some reason I am wanting to do this and I have no idea how to even get started...can someone out there help me?? Pleaseeeeee!

Blogger feydargonet had this to say:

Hun it depends on where you live. I know you live on the east coast but it still just depends, go to your local garden center and ask them they will be able to tell you what you an still plant and how to manage it. If you don't want to ask anyone then you can go to walmart and look at the back of the packets, they have a grid that tells you when to plant what where. Also, most places (I know walmart does) has pre planted indoor veggies, all you have to do is water, feed, give sunlight est. We never have indoor plants, we've always had outside gardens, and then everything need direct sunlight (differents plant very as to how much) and watering, a light to moderate spray down every evening. Like I said, this is all outdoors and we lived in Oklahoma, Texas, and New Mexico, so we didn't get a lot of natural water. Good luck!
