A Sandwich Only Elvis Could Love...

For the last week or so, I have been nauseated so haven't really felt like eating. And cooking? The smells? ACK! So, Mr. has become the house chef. He can cook mac and cheese (kraft all the way, baby), spaghetti and sandwiches.

At least I THOUGHT he could make sandwiches until tonight.

Tonight, after he was exercising he asked what I wanted to eat..and I said a grilled cheese sandwich. He was like, microwave it? Yes, we are King and Queen Microwavers! I told him no, just take some bread, butter and cheese and throw it on the stove in a pan.

30 minutes later...he brings me a sandwich..it only looks like one because I saw the bread..but it didn't look right. Being the wonderful and gracious wife I am, I took it and waiting until he walked out of the room to take a better look.

He put a WAD of butter on the INSIDE of the sandwich with the cheese and there was a pool of melted butter! Bless his heart, I started laughing and he got this look of confusion on this face, until I told him the order it was supposed to be done.

So, supper tonight? Girl Scout cookies!

i agree with tasha...works great that way and for an extra kick, add some salsa when you microwave it! I do give mr. credit though, at least he tried...most men wouldn't have even done that much!
