Back From The Dr's Office

Well, ladies and gents, it's not good. She took a look in my ear, and the eardrum she saw last week all shriveled up, it's no longer there. NOT. THERE. Well, I asked her where did it go, and she really didn't have an answer for me. As far as my ear and side of my face feeling numb around my ear, I probably caused nerve damage. So, when I asked her if my hearing would come back, she wouldn't answer me..she just said I needed to talk to the ENT Dr.

Im sitting here in tears, what if it doesnt come back? Am I going to have to spend the rest of my life with numbness and loss of hearing? The only think I can hear is my voice echoing..nothing else.

Today, I switched from CVS over to Walmart for my prescriptions, mainly because mother-in-law works in the pharmacy and she can just bring home my prescriptions, yes, I am that lazy. Anyway, the woman was talking to me and I just walked off...I swear to God I didn't even hear her talking to me. After my mother-in-law told her what was wrong, she wasn't as offended...see? my worst fear is coming true..already!

Off to my own pity party..yall want to come? bring the cake!

I'm a SAHM to 3 girls. We became foster parents in May 2006 in hopes of adoption. We love our girls and could never picture ourselves without them. Although life is much busier, we couldn't be any happier. Here's our story...
