No Need For A Vacuum...Life Sucks Enough...
I figured in today's post I will list a few things going on in my life that isn't so great...
- My Mom. She is a wonderful woman. My Best Friend, always has been. Now, don't get me wrong, I am equally as close to my dad. Anyway, a little over a year ago, my mom had to have back surgery because she had a ruptured disk and it was pinching a nerve. Ok, we were told by a neurosurgeon that this is a common surgery and she will be fine. The neurosurgeon was well known in the area and was told by many people "he's the best around", so how could my mom say no to that???? So to make the long story short, she had the surgery and was in worse pain than before! She went back to the surgeon for a follow-up and he said it will relieve itself and released her. Then he quit the practice. Well, then everyone starting wondering why would he quit all of a sudden? Retirement? nah too young for that! Was making too much money? I don't see that would be a reason. The reason: he received ANOTHER lawsuit. Why? Because the bastard is blind in one eye and color blind in the other!!! HE. DID. SURGERY. LIKE. THAT. ON. MY. MOMS. SPINE! Nobody knew about this..At all! So, finally mom went to another neurosurgeon a year later, because they won't touch you for at least a year. She has been through a lot this past year, pain medications, pain patches, pain management shots, nothing has worked and she is now in a wheelchair. It hurts so bad to see her in so much pain...And there's nothing I can do about it. Nothing. This morning she is having another "procedure" to see what they can do about the pain..Hopefully they can figure something out.
- After the last miscarriage I was told I need to go on insulin shots before I can try again. I thought to myself, no problem....If this will help me conceive and carry it, I'm willing to try it. Well, after 3 weeks, my glucose levels haven't changed much. I'm seeing the Dr. every freakin' week to try and get the right amount to keep it where it needs to be. Oh, and on a side note, I have GAINED 11lbs. since being on the insulin. Great, huh?
- My mother-in-law has cancer. She refuses to tell anyone what the Dr. says. All I do is sit and wonder what's going on with her. Hopefully one day she will tell us.
So, with that being said...Right now we're....Universe=3 Mrs.TSB=0. Hopefully the rest of the day will be brighter.
